Terms and Conditions The Stationery Shop Pty Ltd - ABN 78 849 970 209 Customer Acknowledgement The Customer acknowledges agreement with these Terms and Conditions of Sale by the placement of an order to purchase product(s) from The Stationery Shop. 1. Online Orders
2. Fax and Mail Orders Customers that do not wish to order and purchase over the internet can click here to download and print an order form. 3. Email Orders We accept purchase orders from schools and government agencies. Our payment terms are strictly 30 days from invoice date. A tax invoice is enclosed with every order unless otherwise requested. Purchase orders can be placed via mail, fax or email. For more Prices Prices displayed throughout this website are in Australian dollars and include Goods and Services Tax (GST). Whilst every effort is made to list prices correctly, factors beyond our control may vary the cost and we reserve the right to change prices without notice. Product Availability The majority of products listed on this website are available to ship within 1-3 business days. Occasionally products may become discontinued during the course of the year. The Stationery Shop makes every effort to delete these items from the website as soon as they become unavailable. Stock quantities are adjusted automatically at the checkout to what is currently in stock. If you would like to order larger quantities, Contact us to place a special order. Product Design Changes All products on our website may be subject to design, colour variation or change (including packaging) at any time. We reserve the right to supply you with the current item. Product Use Products must be used by children of an appropriate age and under correct adult supervision. Delivery Time We deliver Australia wide using Australia Post and couriers. We process orders within 24 hours of receiving them and actual delivery should be within 2-7 working days for Australian orders paid via PayPal. Please allow an additional 1-2 work days for processing during the peak period from December to February. Orders paid via Direct Deposit will only be dispatched once payment has been received and cleared. Delivery times are an estimate and will depend on the availability of stock, the delivery address and the carrier. If we experience a delay in processing your order, we will endeavor to contact you either via email or phone. Delivery Options 1. Australia Post Parcel Post Delivery service and Courier services. Some parcels may require a signature upon delivery. If premises are unattended, parcel(s) may be transferred to the nearest Post Office for collection. This is our safest and preferred delivery option. 2. Authority to leave parcel(s) unattended. By selecting this option you agree to accept full responsibility for any loss or damage that may arise from leaving your parcel(s) unattended. Your parcel will be deemed received when it is left at your premises. By selecting this option, you release The Stationery Shop from all liabilities including claims, demands, costs and expenses made, suffered or incurred by you or others as a result of this Authority to Leave. Please note that Australia Post recently introduced a ''do not safe drop'' policy for all of its delivery services which means that it may not be possible to have parcels left unattended. We will email you a tracking number that you can use to track your parcel through the Australia Post website and their email/text notification service. Most items are sent via Australia Post and all oversized and/or overweight items (over 20kg) are sent in multiple parcels. To minimize delivery costs, we do not automatically insure or register our freight, however, if you would like to insure or use Registered Post, this can be arranged at an additional cost. Please contact us for a quote and we can add this to your order. Regular Parcels under 20kg Oversized Parcels over 20kg Freight - Registered Mail Free Delivery Once your order exceeds the minimum amount for your city, freight cost will automatically reduce to $0.00. Goods Lost or Damaged in Transit Although every care is taken when packaging your goods for transit, we accept no responsibility for goods damaged or lost in transit. Insurance can be arranged at an extra cost. Returns Policy Incorrect, Faulty or Damaged items All products are checked and packed safely to avoid and minimize damage in transit. Should you receive a product that is damaged, faulty or not what you ordered, please contact The Stationery Shop within 5 business days of delivery so that we can assess your claim and discuss refund or exchange options. Once your refund/exchange has been approved, you will be given a Return Authorization (RA) number to include with the items that you are returning. Please note: - NO claim will be accepted without prior approval and a RA number.- Goods received without a RA number, will be rejected and returned at your expense - All goods must be returned in their original packaging. - A copy of the original receipt or Order Confirmation must be forwarded with the returned goods. It is your responsibility to organise and pay for the freight cost for goods returned. The cost of the original freight will not be refunded. The Stationery Shop will not accept goods that are sent as collect or non-paid freight and goods sent in this manner will be returned at your expense. Blackline Masters All Blackline masters are subject to copyright laws and are therefore not refundable. Replacement copies will be provided for misbound or faulty products. Errors and Omissions The Stationery Shop makes every effort to provide accurate pricing and product information. Because of the dynamic nature of this industry (e.g. supplier price changes and other variables beyond our control), prices, promotions, versions and availability advertised are subject to change without prior notice. Please be assured of our every effort to ensure the accuracy; however the documents, text and graphics published may contain technical inaccuracies or typographical errors. The Stationery Shop makes no representations about the suitability of this information; it is provided as is without warranty of any kind. If an error is made or a product is listed at an incorrect price, The Stationery Shop shall maintain the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed. If the order has been confirmed and charged to your credit card, The Stationery Shop shall immediately issue a refund. Security Our secure shopping system incorporates industry standard SSL 3.0 data encryption at 128 bit using the internationally trusted Comodo certificates. The Stationery Shop will take reasonable steps to keep secure any personal information which we collect and retain. Personal information is stored in a secure server or secure files.
